Demo/Rent a Bike

Reserve Your Demo Below

Reserve your demo bike and sign our Ride Waiver.

In order to demo a bicycle at Specialized Austin, please have your ID and Credit Card ready. You will sign a liability waiver and must be approved for a credit card pre-authorization upon check out. A deposit may be required. Riders under the age of 18 must have a parent present to sign a liability waiver.

What to Bring

All demo bikes come stocked with flat or Shimano pedals. If you prefer to use your own pedals, bring them by and we will be happy to install them for you.

Be sure to bring your own helmet. All demo riders MUST wear a helmet!

Specialized Austin has had the pleasure of supporting our community since January 2021. We believe that biking changes lives and enthusiastically support all riders, no matter where they are on their cycling journey. We’ll help you find the right bike and then invite you to join us at one of our group rides or events. We strive to foster an inclusive biking community and are proud sponsors of Breakfast Club ATX, Spectra Racing, and NICA. Services we promise to guide you through the bike-buying process with ease and as much love and care as possible. In addition to in-store support, we offer virtual consultation and Specialized Delivery. Does your bike need service? Bring it in and we’ll treat it like our own, always doing our best to give it a “new bike feel.” If you want to try before you buy, we offer test rides out of our South Austin location.
