These pads are designed for Shimano's newest XTR, XT, and SLX brakes with four piston stopping power, and feature a metallic braking surface that provides reliable braking across both wet and dry conditions. Shimano equips them with aluminum cooling fins to help dissipate heat, so you can maintain reliable modulation even on steep and technical descents.-
